Professor Dr. Joon-keun Park has received a medal

Professor Dr. Joon-keun Park has received a medal from the Royal Government of Cambodia on May 31, 2006 at the Royal University of Agriculture, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Professor Dr. Park is a Dean of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Chonnam National University, South Korea. We, Cambodian students at CNU, are very happy and say congratulate him for this medal award.

The First Treasurer of CNU-CSA

Mr. Chea Sopheak Makara has been selected as a Treasurer of CNU-CSA by the Cambodian students at CNU and approved by president of CNU-CSA on May 21, 2006. He is the first treasurer of CNU-CSA since the association has been founded in June 2005.

The additional scholarship for Cambodian students at CNU

The Cambodian students at CNU are very happy because eight students have been received the additional scholarship from professor Dr. Joon-keun Park, Dean of college of Agriculture and Life Sciences, at the Dean office of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, CNU on May 15, 2006 at 11:30 am. The eight Cambodian students are Mr. Mao Sopheareth, Mr. Huon Thavrak, Mr. Chhay Kongkea, Mr. Khay Sathya, Mr. Chea Sopheak Makara, Mr. Yoeun Sereyvath, Miss Chhay Sreymom, and Miss Ly Dalin.All Cambodian students said thank you very much to professor Dr. Joon-keun Park and his colleague who are always help the Cambodian students at CNU.

Khmer New Year Party 2006

The Cambodian Student Association at Chonnam National University has been celebrated Khmer New Year party on April 15, 2006. This party has been sponsorred by Professor Dr. Joon-keun Park, Dean of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. There are many people joined this party including all Cambodian students at CNU, Dean of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Korean people from Shinan Church.

Two Cambodian Students in Spring 2006

Mr. Ty Sansouci and Mr. Kong Chakrya

There are two Cambodian students come to study Bachelor degree in Chonnam National University this month. Mr. Ty Sansouci's major in Korean language and Mr. Kong Chakrya will choose his major later. They are studying Korean language at Language Center, Chonnam National University for one year, and then they will study their major next year.

The first president and vice president of CNU-CSA

On March 19th 2006, Mr. Mao Sopheareth has been elected as a president of CNU-CSA and Mr. Huon Thavrak has been elected as a vice-president of CNU-CSA by most of the Cambodian students at Chonnam National University. It is the first election for a president and a vice-president of CNU-CSA since the association has been founded in June 2005.
