The 3rd election for the president and vice president of CNU-CSA

The 3rd election for the president and vice-president of CNU-CSA hold on February 26, 2009 at a buffet restaurant. Mr. Huon Thavrak has been elected as the president of CNU-CSA and Mr. Yoeun Sereyvath has been elected as the vice president of CNU-CSA by Cambodian students at Chonnam National University.

On the other hand, Mr. Ty Sansouci has also selected as the general of CNU-CSA by the president at that day too.

Congratulation and Farewell Party for 3 Cambodian Students

Today, February 26, there are three Cambodian students graduated from Chonnam National University (CNU), Dr. Khay Sathya, Ms. Taing Sreiny, and Mr. Hem Lina. So, Cambodian students at CNU celebrated a party for them at a buffet restaurant. Dr. Khay Sathya and Ms. Taing Sreiny are going to leave South Korea for Cambodia on February 27, 2009.

On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Joon-keun Park and Aroma Church members celebrated a congratulation party for three Cambodian students as above on February 22, 2009.

On February 24, Graduate School of College of Business and Administration at Chonnam National University (CNU) celebrated the graduation ceremony. Mr. Sar Kinal was graduated and received the MBA's certificate in that ceremony. He left South Korea to Cambodia on February 26, 2009.

On the other hand, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at CNU celebrated the graduation ceremony on February 26. There are three Cambodian students graduated and received the certificates in that ceremony such as:

1. Dr. Khay Sathya got Doctoral degree in Agricultural Chemistry.
2. Miss Taing Sreiny got Master degree in Agricultural Chemistry.
3. Mr. Hem Lina got Master degree in Agricultural Chemistry.

Congratulations to our members who will graduate on Feb. 26, 2009

The Cambodian Student Association at Chonnam National University is very happy and congratulates to the members who are graduating on February 24 or 26, 2009 at Chonnam National University as below:

- Dr. Khay Sathya is graduating in Doctoral degree from Department of Agricultural Chemistry.

- Ms. Chhay Sreyleak is graduating in Master degree from Department of Agricultural Economics.

- Mr. Hem Lina is graduating in Master degree from Department of Agricultural Chemistry.

- Ms. Taing Sreiny is graduating in Master degree from Department of Agricultural Chemistry.

- Mr. Sar Kinal is graduating in Master degree from Department of Business and Administration.

The Farewell Party for Ms. Chhay Sreyleak

Ms. Chhay Sreyleak is going to leave South Korea on January 18, 2009. She completed all Graduate School's requirements and is going to graduate on February 2009 in Master degree from Department of Agricultural Economics, Chonnam National University (CNU). On January 17, Prof. Dr. Joon-keun Park, Aroma Church's pastor and members, Mr. Suck-bong Kim, and Dr. Chae-Ok Kim celebrated a farewell party for Ms. Chhay Sreyleak at Sarangbang Restaurant (사랑방). There are some Cambodian students at CNU also joined the party too such as Mr. Khay Sathya, Mr. Huon Thavrak, Mr. Yoeun Sereyvath, Ms. Taing Sreiny, Mr. Phan Veasna and Mr. Chum Puthy Roath.

On the other hand, the Cambodian students at Chonnam National University celebrated also a farewell party for Ms. Chhay Sreyleak, Mr. Hem Lina, Mr. Ty Sansouci and his girlfriend on January 15 at buffet restaurant. Mr. Hem Lina left Korea on January 16 and will come back on February 15. Mr. Ty Sansouci and his girlfriend will visit Cambodia from January 18 to February 18, 2009.

Farewell Parties for Mr. Sar Kinal

Mr. Sar Kinal is going to graduate on February 2009 in MBA degree from Department of Business Administration, Chonnam National University. He is also going to leave South Korea on December 11. So, on December 7 at Aroma church, Mr. Suck-bong Kim (김석봉), Mrs. Nam-yeob Choi (최남엽) and Ms. Sun-min Choi (최선민) celebrated the chicken farewell party for Mr. Kinal.

On the other hand, the Cambodian students at Chonnam National University celebrated also a farewell party for Mr. Sar Kinal on December 9 at buffet restaurant.

Final presentation to defense thesis

There are five Cambodian students at Chonnam National University are going to graduate in this coming winter on February, 2009. So, this month and next month are the time for them to present their thesis.

Mr. KHAY Sathya has presented his Ph.D thesis entitled: "Method Developments and Determinations of Xenobiotic Residues in Foodstuffs" on November 7th, 2008 at Building 4, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

There are two Cambodian students are going to present their Master's thesis on on November 10th, 2008 at Building 4, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Ms. TAING Sreiny is going to present her Master's thesis entitled: "Method Establishment and Residue Determination of Isocarbophos in Pepper, Chinese cabbage, Apple, Brown rice and Soybean using GC-FPD." Mr. HEM Lina is going to present his Master's thesis entitled: "Study on dissipation pattern of acrinathrin, dinotefuran, fenhexamid, methoxyfenozide, and tetradifon on/in pepper grown under greenhouse condition."

Mr. SAR Kinal is going to present his Master's thesis entitled: "The Journey of Korean Investors toward Cambodia" on December 10th, 2008 at College of Business and Administration.

Ms. CHHAY Sreyleak is going to present her Master's thesis entitled: "A Study on the Development Direction of Cassava Industry in Cambodia" on December 1st, 2008 at Building 4, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
