A farewell party for seven foreign students



There are many people joined a farewell party for seven foreign students on June 29, 2007 such as professor Dr. Joon-keun Park, Mr. Sung-Mo Kim and his sons, Mr. Suck-bong Kim, Mr. Sun Woo Choi, Mr. Chae-Ok Kim, Ms. Hee-Jung Na, two Korean people from companies, and foreign students at CNU from Shina Church. Seven foreign students are going to gratuate their Master or Doctoral degree at CNU on August 24, 2007 including five Cambodian students such as Mr. Mao Sopheareth, Mr. Chea Sopheak Makara, Mr. Yoeun Sereyvath, Ms. Chhay Sreymom, and Ms. Ly Dalin, one Indonesian student, and one vietnamese student. This party sponsored by professor Dr. Joon-keun Park, Mr. Sung-Mo Kim, Mr. Suck-bong Kim, Mr. Sun Woo Choi, and Mr. Chae-Ok Kim.

Presentation to defense thesis

Mao Sopheareth

There are three Cambodian students are going to present their Master thesis in the major of Biotechnology on June 12, 2007 from 4:00pm at Room 101, Building 5, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Chonnam National University (CNU). These students are
- Mr. Chea Sopheak Makara, his Master thesis entitled: "Stress responses of transgenic rice overexpressing oxo-phytodienoic acid reductase gene"
- Miss Ly Dalin, her Master thesis entitled: "Comparisons of antioxidant activities and contents of secondary metabolites between environmental-friendly and conventionally cultivated crops"
- Mr. Yoeun Sereyvath, his Master thesis entitled: "Stress responses of transgenic rice overexpressing allene oxide cyclase gene"

On the other hand, Mr. Mao Sopheareth has presented his Ph.D thesis in the major of Agricultural Chemistry entitled: "Biocontrol of Late Blifht (Phytophthora capsici) in pepper by Burkholderia sp. MPC-7" at 3:00pm - 3:30pm on May 17, 2007 at Room 419, Building 4, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, CNU. Miss Chhay Sreymom has also presented her Master thesis in the major of International Trade entitled: "The Marketing Policy of Tourism in Cambodia" on May 11, 2007 at Room 303, Building 1, College of Business Administration, CNU.
