A Certificate of Appreciation for Mr. Sung-Mo Kim

Mr. Sung-Mo Kim, a supporter of Cambodian students at CNU, has been received a certificate of appreciation from Rector of Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) in Cambodia for his collaborations with RUA and his supporting Cambodian students at Chonnam National University. Rector and Vice Rectors of RUA, Deans and Vice Deans at RUA, Professor Dr. Joon-keun Park, and Korean delegates participated in the appreciative ceremony that held on March 15, 2007 at RUA, Cambodia.

Three New Members on March 2007

There are three new members of CNU-CSA who are also studying at Chonnam National University in Spring 2007. Mr. Nop Sophea Donang is studying Bachelor degree. Mr. Hem Lina and Miss Taing Sreiny are studying Master degree in the major of Agricultural Chemistry.

Miss Chhay Sreyleak arrived South Korea

Miss Chhay Sreyleak and her brother

Miss Chhay Sreyleak arrived South Korea with her brother on February 23, 2007. She is a new member of CNU-CSA and is going to study Master degree in Agricultural Economics at Chonnam National University on March 2007.

Mr. Huon Thavrak and Dr. Oksoo Han are going to visit Cambodia

Mr. Huon Thavrak and his professor, Dr. Oksoo Han, are going to visit Cambodia on February 3-10, 2007. At the Royal University of Agriculture on Februry 5, 2007 in Cambodia, Mr. Huon Thavrak will give a presentation about "Production of Transgenic Rice Plant Overexpressing Allene Oxide Synthase-Lipoxygenase Fusion Gene" and his professor will recruit students to study Master degree in Biotechnology at Chonnam National University, South Korea.

Yoeun Sereyvath - Appendectomy

Mr. Yoeun Sereyvath has been opperated his appendix at Hyundae Hospital on January 4, 2007. He is better now but he still stay at Hyundae Hospital Room 710 for about one week. He would like to say thank you to Professor Dr. Oksoo Han, Professor Dr. Joon-keun Park, Doctor at Hyundae Hospital, Shinan Church's members, his Biochemistry Lab's members, and Cambodian students at CNU for their sponsor and take care of him during his appendectomy and staying at hospital.
