On Sunday 25th May 2008, professor Dr. Kyung-Ja Hong gave allowance (100,000 won/each student) to eight Cambodian students of Chonnam National University (CNU) at Aroma Church. The eight Cambodian students are Mr. Khay Sathya, Mr. Huon Thavrak, Mr. Yoeun Sereyvath, Miss Chhay Sreyleak, Mr. Hem Lina, Miss Taing Sreiny, Mr. Sar Kinal and Mr. Kong Chakrya. Professor Dr. Kyung-Ja Hong is a former professor of CNU and is the chairperson of "Open Sesame" Foundation. She is a Cambodian students' supporter too. She always gives many good advices to all people including Cambodian students. The ceremony was also attended by professor Dr. Joon-keun Park, Aroma Church's pastor, Mr. Suk-Bong Kim, Dr. Chae-Ok Kim, and Aroma church's members. The Cambodian students at CNU would like to thank you very much to Dr. Kyung-Ja Hong and professor Dr. Joon-keun Park for their always support.
